By 2030, Tallmadge Lutheran Church will be a thriving, vibrant church connecting every person to Jesus Christ and to one another.  Our church will be a safe harbor providing warmth and fellowship that refreshes and equips people to share God’s love and joyfully live in Christ.

Connection and Community

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will build a church that is alive with the spirit of community, rich in faith where relationships are nurtured, and every individual is valued and included. Through intergenerational interactions and support, we will build a community where relationships are strengthened and people of all ages experience a profound sense of belonging.

Faith Development

We will work together to create a place where every person experiences the transformative power of God’s unconditional love through vibrant worship grounded in God’s Word and Sacraments that connects us with God’s presence. Through Bible study, prayer, and a variety of fellowship events, we will support each individual member’s journey in faith, helping them to deepen their relationship with Christ and live out their faith in meaningful ways.

Diverse Ministry and Social Activities

We will offer a variety of ministries and social activities that meet people right where they are.  From dynamic ministries and programs for children and youth, to hands-on family-oriented events, to programs for senior members, there will be something for everyone, ensuring that all members can find their place and purpose within Tallmadge Lutheran Church.

Service and Participation

Secure in our identity as people loved by God, TLC will be known as a serving community, characterized by individuals who are eager to serve and willing to participate. We envision a church where members take ownership and accountability for the success of the church, actively engaging in its activities and ministries. By empowering individuals to use their gifts and talents, we will cultivate a culture of service and caring.
